Liaison is a iOS Dating App that is currently under construction. It has a sinatra/mongoDB back-end and communicates with the app through a restful inteface, ajax-ing json encoded base64 images. Check out the video demo of the app to see what i've done so far, there's a uicollection view that's interesting, I'm looking to program in a third image shape.
A prototype game built on Ruby, Sinatra, Mongodb, Crafty.js, Lovely.io. Click the above image to check out a Demo. The game uses public geolocation data to compose its game grid, each tile represents ~40 sq/ft and buildings in the game world are reflections of real shops and locations. A player is represented as a cloud in the game that can control a number of characters (the naked people). A character's abilities is diminished by the distance they are from their player. This provides incentives for the players in this game to move in the real world.
During the initial development stage, I had to modify Crafty.js' isometric grid script to create arbitrarily large maps that had no edge. At one point the algorithm for laying out the tiles were wrong and it created a compressed clumped up world.
